Exterior

The new Mazda Tribute sports a totally redesigned front face incorporating a newly designed five-point grille with hexagonal pattern mesh and chrome highlights, a redesigned front bumper with integrated nudge bar and revised bonnet.

Large headlamps feature a swept back appearance and external door mirrors with embedded LED turn signals improve safety and enhance the sporty appearance of the car.

Adding even more style are new 16 inch alloy wheels with a 5-spoke design for the 2.3 litre 4 cylinder and a new 10-spoke design for both 3.0 litre V6 models. The new Mazda Tribute builds on its stylish looks while retaining the rugged 4WD appearance.

Performance

If you want a thrilling drive, the new Mazda Tribute will not disappoint. For starters, there's a choice of two revised engines that deliver power more smoothly than ever before.

The 2.3 litre DOHC 4 cylinder utilises a Variable Inertia Charging System and Tumble Swirl Control Valves for superior torque and fuel efficiency. This engine is also quieter while producing an impressive 109kW of power and 199Nm of torque.

The 3.0 litre DOHC V6 engine pumps out 152kW of power and 276Nm of torque and is also 10% more fuel-efficient. Both engines are mated to a new floor mounted 4-speed automatic with overdrive. This transmission is smoother and more economical, helped by electronic transfer between two modes: normal and gradient-control, which stops needless shifting and hunting on hills.

Tribute handling is further enhanced by MacPherson struts up front and multi-link suspension at the back. A rack and pinion power steering system is engine-speed sensitive and adds to the nimble, responsive feel. So wherever it takes you, your driving experience will constantly bring two words to mind.
